First Light Direct has for many years now specialised in many types of specialist lighting. Aquarium Lighting is one range that we keep on the shelf. It is essential that aquariums use the correct light bulbs and fluorescent tubes to ensure that safe health of the fish or reptiles. Specialist Lighting for cleaning and sterilisation of ponds is yet another vast range that is available in fluorescent tube or PLC and PLS versions.

Among our most popular ranges are daylight light bulbs and daylight fluorescent tubes. They can be used to simulate the affects of natural daylight, and can therefore change the appearance and atmosphere of a room by making it appear much brighter and warm.

Another vast area of specialist lighting is for use in photography, theatre and studios. A full range of either A1 photographic, T class theatre or CP class studio light bulbs are available from our vast stocks.
