LED Light Bulbs

LED light bulbs or as they are properly known light emitting diodes, are a new and advancing technology in the light bulbs world. Led Light Bulbs are simply small diodes that produce small quantities of light, and these diodes are placed in to the shape of the casing of the light bulb they are to replace.

Led Light Bulbs use very small percentages of energy, each diode on average uses between 1watt and 5watts dependant on the light bulb type and the total output they light bulbs are required to produce.

Currently as can be seen on our site various shapes of LED light bulbs are now available and most can be directly retrofitted into for standard incandescent light bulbs or halogen light bulbs.

To reduce the world carbon foot print it is essential that the populace finds ways to reduce energy consumption. LED Light Bulbs and Led Lighting solutions is an excellent opportunity reduce our energy uses by a vast amount.

Light Emitting Diodes are a new technology that continues to get better and better ever day. Manufacturers are trialling new forms of LED light bulbs and LED light fittings that will certainly change the light bulbs industry for many years to come.

Unlike low energy that can actually explain the expected output of the light bulbs, LED light bulbs only inform the user and consumer the actual energy consumption not the out put. This is due to manufactures still be sceptical of the wattage outputs produced, however most will now produce light outputs in Lumens to assist the end users.

LED GU10 light bulbs have been the most successful lamps to be produced and to be used by commercial and residential customers. These GU10 Light Bulbs have proven to be a direct replacement for their GU10 Halogen Light Bulbs that they replace.

LED Reflector Lamps are also another emerging market place that is set to be as successful as the GU10 Light Bulbs. These LED Reflector Light Bulbs are available in PAR20, PAR30 and PAR38 and are also available in coloured LED ranges.

The most important thing to remember with LED Light Bulbs are that they consume small amounts of energy sometimes as little as 1watt and last very long durations some times up to 100,000 hours which is 100 times greater than standard incandescent light bulbs.
